We take organic, cold pressed authentic Neem oil, that has been produced in India, and put it into our Shea Butter Lotion. The result is a wonderful "Neem Lotion".
And what is Neem Oil you ask? Neem Oil is made from the seeds of the Neem tree.
"The Neem tree - Azadirachta Indica - is an evergreen native to India, that also grows in Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Pakistan, Japan and
tropical regions of Australia and America. Ancient Indian texts (4000 BC) refer to the wonderful properties of Neem. Literally every part
of the tree - neem seed oil, seed meal (cake), leaf, bark & wood has a use in everyday life."
Neem is said to have
health, medicinal, and even
insect repellent properties. Could Neem be the next Deet substitute?
Time will tell if Neem can truly be effective against mosquitoes and other insects.
Our lotion tubes can stand on their heads or just lay flat. Our newer design tube includes a head that will screw off. Just turn the head counter-clockwise.
Simply work the lotion up from the bottom of the tube using your thumbs.
When you have pushed the lotion up as far as it will go, then flip open the cap and give the tube a good squeeze
around the mid-section. Sometimes, the lotion does not flow as well as it should. This is a natural product
with no flowing agents. One trick, though, to get out all of the lotion (if it gets too hard) is to simply cut the end off with a scissors.
You can then access the rest of the lotion at the bottom of the tube. The tubes are good for higher ambient temperatures. Use our
lotion stick for colder temperatures.
