Adult Only Caravan Sites For A Relaxing Holiday
Are you child-free and looking to enjoy a relaxing break away in your caravan? Perhaps you are put off by most of the caravan sites you’ve been to in the past because of the number of kids running around. perhaps you are looking to sit and chill outside your caravan, without having to wear dear defenders because the kids in the adjacent pitch are making enough noise to wake up the dead?.
While in the past adult-only caravan sites were very much a rarity, the increase in the demand for them has seen them crop up all over the place now.
As the name suggests, these caravan parks have an age restriction. Meaning that when you book to stay at one, you are not going to have rude awakenings at 7 O clock in the morning because some kids have decided to have a water fight.
To give you some food for thought, we have put together a brief list of some adult-only sites that might be worth checking out for your next romantic getaway.
Bingham Grange Touring and Camping Park in Dorset
Bingham Grange is a Victorian grange along the Jurassic Coast and the park offers a 5-star experience. All pitches are hard-standing and have water and electric hook-ups, so don’t forget your BBQ. From the site, you are not far away obviously from the coast and there will not be a young person in sight.
South Wales Touring Park, Llwynifan Farm in Llangennech
With just 25 touring pitches available, South Wales Touring Park will feel very tranquil and exclusive. Because of its location, you are also not too far away from the Gower peninsula, the Brecon Beacons and the Welsh Valleys. Ideal for anyone with a thirst for adventure and hiking.
Somers Wood Caravan Park in the Forest of Arden, The Midlands
Although it is not far away from cities like Coventry and Birmingham, Somers Wood Caravan Park is still rurally-based enough to feel like a million miles away from civilisation and most importantly, little kids and their noise!
Sandy Gulls in North Norfolk
This particular caravan park has the distinct title of being the only clifftop caravan park in North Norfolk, giving it a nice dramatic feel. Furthermore, because of its placing, you are close enough to enjoy the sandy beaches and the county’s magical coastline, but far enough from families and children to get the peace you’ve been looking for on holiday. The beach is actually only a short walk away as there is a direct route that leads you to it.
If none of the above appeals, either because they are not in the area you are looking to travel or you’ve visited them before, don’t worry as there are plenty more adult-only caravan parks out there. When you take a holiday, that you’ve worked long and hard for, you deserve to get the holiday experience you want and adult-only caravan sites like those mentioned above, help.
